About The Villages
The Villages is an Active Adult Over 55 Community that couldn't have been planned any better in our opinion. There can be problems but they are tiny compared to the beauty, benefits and comraderie of The Villages.
As a renter with a Villages ID or a resident of The Villages you are entitled to "FREE resident membership in our country clubs... allows you to dine in the country clubs and play golf FREE on our executive courses" (green fees; trail fee still applies) plus there are SO many restaurants available on the squares, in the shopping centers and in the local area. Some of these numbers have not been updated in a while... there may be even more now but you can see it's great, even with the old numbers. See The Villages™ official site for the most up-to-date counts. Some activities require your Villages ID others are highly discounted because of your Villages ID. If you never played golf, you will still enjoy the MANY activities available to you as a renter in our home. Or just enjoy riding in your own or a rented golf cart ALL over the community. - Three multi-screen movie theaters - one at each square (Rialto now being remodeled) - 12 Heated Swimming pools - Grocery Stores, Restaurants and Recreation Centers with special golf cart parking lots - 12 miles of recreational trails - 22 tennis courts - Shuffle Board - Billiards |

- 8 Regional Rec Centers - 17 Village Rec Centers - 25 Neighborhood Rec Centers - Activities Pickelball, Softball, horseshoes, water volleyball, basketball, dance clubs and classes, table tennis, bingo, bridge, canasta, chess, computer club, astrology club, clubs for many U.S. states or regions, a POLO Team, Bocce Ball... the list goes on & on. (most are free or very reasonable to you as a Villages ID holder) - Adult education classes - 2 Bowling Alleys - Many Churches that are golf cart accessible - Parades and festivities for Mardi Gras, St Patrick's, Oktoberfest, Christmas & New Years.
